Flamingo 🦩

Sometimes when I write a sentence, autocorrect will change a word I meant to write into something else.

I wanted to write about sitting seaside in Mykonos, Greece, drinking frappe and admiring Naxos from afar, and Paris…

Paris is the flamingo 🦩

Anthropic Claude describes it this way: 

**Paris** standing in for **Paros**, confidently, coherently, and *completely* wrong.

🦩 Flamingos stand oddly, improbably, on one leg — yet somehow balance perfectly

The autocorrected word does the same thing: it shouldn’t hold, but it does — grammatically sound, contextually plausible, just… *aimed at the wrong island*

So, if this happens to you sometime, that autocorrect changes a word into another, and it is similar to what you meant maybe, but wrong – then you might just have made a flamingo 🦩.
