Sonnet 18-ish
Shall I compare you to a winter’s day?
You have more rizz and you are tan.
Soft winds make the snow drift.
Winter lasts here.
Because the sun hasn’t much UV in it,
And it’s often overcast with sleet;
Beauty is lost on us sometimes,
By chance or frostbite.
But your winter might be famous,
Of the kind that win medals.
Death will not brag about you hanging with him,
When you can live forever here.
So long as we go skiing and build snowmen,
So long you will be remembered too.
