About

As a student I fell in love with American literature and the quote: “Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind” by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Today there is a whole list of things I would have to include in what is sacred to me, amongst those my family, friends, colleagues, and my students! 🙂

These days I like to write poetry, texts about what I read, reflections about teaching, and some posts are tied to my previous MOOCs at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2013-15). I work as a teacher at Ramstad secondary school in the county Bærum in Norway, and I was an eTwinner for years. eTwinning is the community for teachers and students in Europe. My subjects are English, social science, religious studies and an elective called Community service.

My main hobby is horseback riding, and I part-lease a beautiful Hanoverian horse called “Chicca Blue”.
