Glamour
I wonder why
Some have
A hunger
To be rich and famous
In the sense of
Drowning
In money and applause
I wonder if
Finding yourself
In glamour
Might be like
Surfacing from a dive
To find a veil of ice
Blocking you
From the sun
Maybe the trick
Is to know
When to pause
To see if you are skating
On thin ice
And find
Your way
Towards yourself
